Omar Badarah, MSW, MCP, RP, RSW, is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). With over 25 years of experience in the mental health care field, I am dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for healing, growth, and self-discovery.
My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients manage emotions, build resilience, and restore balance. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, anger management, addiction, and LGBTQ2+ concerns. I also have extensive experience supporting refugees and newcomers adjusting to life in Canada, addressing issues of displacement, identity, and acculturation stress. Fluent in Farsi and Kurdish, I provide culturally sensitive and inclusive care that honors each client’s unique story and background. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can process emotions, find clarity, and develop tools to move forward with strength, confidence, and hope.
